So slooooooow. They must be getting huge quantities of items being submitted these days, it used to take a week!

Lol slaves of envato, they just provide the platform we don’t have to use it. Its an almost impossible task to stop copyright theft. Look at the size of the music and film industry, they haven’t even came close to solving it. I think the problem is as long as we have an open and free internet, this kind of theft is almost impossible to police, and a complete change in the rules and values of the internet is the only way its going to change. But that means laws and regulations and nobody really wants that!

It’s clear and simple we can’t stop Giraffes because we are some individual designers and if we will spend all our time fetching links and sending DCMA we will not founding time to create our designs.

But the problem is in Envato the biggest company with a lot of employers around the world and payed with our money, and really until now from 1 year when this subject is opened I don’t see any positive reaction and REAL SOLUTIONS provided for this problem like the Envato company don’t interest or he accept this the GIRAFFES method, because there are a lot solutions can be applied to at least reducing this traffic because now 95% of my portfolio is for free and my sales is down about 60% WHAY ?? we need to accept this state and continue working.

Really I respect all STAFF , REVIEWERS , ADMIN , AUTHORS ,BUYERS but I really feel that this place is not our home but is our JAIL and we are the SLAVES of GIRAFFES + ENVATO.

I recommend using the millenium copyright act thing with google. You just report the offending url and prove you own the original content (i just provided links to my portfolio) and boom the links were removed from search results. TBH in surprised envato don’t take a member of staff on to just fire these things off to google all day. Its a weird way to stop them, but they’re not in search results then people cant find it!

Hey guys, its been a while but I’m back (I’ve been out of the country for a while). Does anyone else have an issue with really slow load times on the pop-up preview images? Sometimes it just doesn’t load!

I’ve always thought envato should provide some sort of template for us all to use on our item descriptions. Would unify the way they look and work, making it easy for both authors and customers.

Wouldn’t take to much work to do, that’s my opinion anyway, maybe I should have put this in site feedback

New iPhone didn’t inspire me at all, so for the first time in 4 years I’m thinking of not buying apple. Loving those new Nokias that are due to come out, especially they yellow. Who cares if Im 30 with a yellow phone!
