Dude, it’s awesome :D But the default interface looks a little messy at first glance :P

Check out the top of the screen where it says “Essentials”. There are lots of different layouts to choose from. I assume you can make your own and save them as well.

I’ve seen the bug on the following browsers:

Firefox 3 (Windows Vista)
Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista)
Opera (Windows Vista)
Safari (Windows Vista)
Firefox 2 (Windows XP)

So in other words… Vista sucks :)

spot on lol :D

The audio bug also affects Windows XP and Macs to the same degree.

No worries guys, looks like Adobe is aware of this bug:
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-862

The bug status is labeled as “Internal Review”. So hopefully they will start working on a fix soon.

Well i seem to have found a workaround for now (just in case anyone else has this problem).

I guess the bug has nothing to do with the sound object or what your Actionscript looks like. Apparently Flash Player 10 handles 48000Hz MP3 files differently compared to Flash Player 9.

So if you come across this issue, reconvert your MP3 files so that they have a sample rate of 44100Hz or less.

Okay, I bought gears of war 2 and i must say it’s incredible! Now if you’re up for a game on horde mode, let me know XD.

Yes, Horde mode is a lot of fun to play. So far I’ve only reached level 37. It really depends on how smart (or stupid) your teammates are.

After updating to Flash Player 10, I’ve noticed that a large number of MP3 players on Flashden are now spitting out static and distorted music. Unfortunately, this bug has affected my MP3 players as well (although they still play fine in FP9 ), so I’m trying to get to the bottom of this.

I’ve seen the bug on the following browsers:

Firefox 3 (Windows Vista)
Internet Explorer 7 (Windows Vista)
Opera (Windows Vista)
Safari (Windows Vista)
Firefox 2 (Windows XP)

And sure enough, when using Flash Player 9, the music plays perfectly.

However, this bug only seems to affect some MP3 players and not others. I looked through a few MP3 players that were similar to mine (Flash 8 and AS2 ). Some had static, and some seemed to work fine.

So the question is, what’s the difference between those that were affected and those that were not? Was the sound object set up differently?

I’d be glad to know if anybody has found a solution for this!

Here is one of my favorite games on Flashden: http://www.flashden.net/item/strongfishstrong-game/15680

It might be useful for this purpose.
