I won’t point out a very poor template (at themeforest) that somehow has been approved in the past few weeks. His acceptance was almost a slap in the face to all those ppl whose files were rejected for minor factors.

Sales speaks for itself. Items with zero sales or below a threshold should go automatically to the ‘Bargain Basement’ and finally deleted. Even if they are of good quality.

No sales for several months = useless file.

When i first came on Graphicriver, i used to examine every file on the front page (effects, style, idea) and every time i said “wow”. And now i spend 5 min max on the front page to see what’s new and i’m not very happy of what i see (sorry if i offended anybody, this is how i see things).

I totally agree with Bebel. Sad to say this, but the market is already completely overfilled by dozens of poor quality items (not offending anyone). It seems to me that a year ago the criteria for accepting new items were more prohibitive. New items were selling a dozen or several dozen times a week, now it’s vice versa, for the last dozen pages with new items, most of them have a ZERO or a sale of 1-3. I saw a fantastic quality items in my opinion, worth the big money, have sold 5 times at a price of $3. Amazing…

In my opinion the partial solution could be to introduce a list of items with zero sales (or below a certain threshold) in the past x days. Such items should go automatically to the ‘Bargain Basement’ (or similar) and removed within a specified period of time. I wouldn’t protest if among these items will be mine.

I agree with Parallelus. I can see a tutorial on “how to make shiny buttons in 3 minutes” or “how to make a professional template for WordPress” – both at a price lower than a set of interesting buttons or a professional template at themeforest. For this lower price some will buy the tutorial – which after all offers the final (featured) product PLUS the tutorial – instead of buying an item at another market at a higher price. In my opinion, the idea is irrelevant and certainly will affect the number of potential buyers at GR or TF.

I have also noticed this problem here on top sellers page. The purchases shown on the top seller page is always incorrect. Need to be fixed soon.

I agree with gogsy7. It would be nice to see such a category. SwishMax is a powerful tool, less common than adobe flash, but allows you to create presentations, games, photo galleries, etc. in swf format. For people who work in it, a source .swi file would be useful, some need just swf.
