Does anyone have a solutions for correcting the Chamber blog posting problems using WordPress? The problem started after updating WP. I’ve sent message to the author, Peerapong, but he refuses to respond to my inquiries. Also, Chamber is no longer a part of his 45 theme offerings. He is certainly doing a sloppy job of keeping his customer informed. Not good business.

Yep. Just noticed the theme was removed from my downloads. This is the 14th item I have purchased from Envato that has been removed from downloads. I do realize they post a disclaimer stating that items may be removed, but the consistency with which they are removed are astounding. Coupled with the fact that getting an explanation is akin to creating the world in 7 days.
I really needed an update to make it work with WP 3.5, guess once again I am SOL when it comes to Envato purchases.

I have been reading and re-reading those forum rules over and over the last 2 days to make sure I did not post a link again and just was not able to find it. I did find a section that I am pretty sure pertains to why you removed the link. I think I understand now, it was not using a link that I did wrong, it was that while discussing the theme in question, I linked to it and you considered that ” calling out ”. While that was not my intention, rather simply to get the theme in question noticed, I understand now. Won’t happen again, it really was a misunderstanding on my part, I meant no malice. As a matter of a fact, actually hopes the person in question is well, as I fear they may not be.

A prefect example of a Theme Forest price raise that is so NOT justified

This theme has not been taken care of at all and yet you raised the price and people are STILL BUYING IT

This theme should have been REMOVED , and any person who has bought it should have their money REFUNDED IMHO { at least those since the price increase at the very minimum } play fair envato

Please have a look Envato, and tell me I am wrong.
Has never worked properly since I paid for it and has never once received a reply, not even a ask in the support forum, nada, nuttin honey.

Thinks this author may have passed away or has been otherwise incapacitated and I am not joking. Has purchased a couple themes from him / her and he / she has been missing in action for months now on all of them.

All one need do is look at the comments on all of his / her themes.

BTW , still buying fantastic work from fantastic authors here, just purchased Cardamon for 50.00$ but stuff like the one mentioned above needs to be resolved. Return Customers are important. I will return, but a new customer who pays for that theme I mentioned at first is so Not Coming Back Again

I also have stopped impulse buying to try them out. I pick very very very carefully now and only purchase from the tried and true authors.

Hey, You’ve bought over 50 items on Envato marketplaces. You know that these purchases saved you lot of your time. Now. Do you think that creating a theme will cost you less than 55 bucks?

Well, from time-to-time some rip-offs are appearing here. And even them are more costly to create

Personally I’m not happy with new reviewing policy. But that’s my problem. The fact is that most of ThemeForest items are remaining best in terms of price and quality on whole WP themes market. I think, no one can deny that.

The only thing authors have to wary about is sales decrease due to increased level of piracy (I think that many potential buyers now will be simply downloading themes from “bad sites”). But that’s how all software industry works. No drama.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say, ( I sometimes am not able to explain my train of thought just right, that’s my fault ) I was actually giving all of the authors a compliment and big thank you. Just because I will endeavor to be more creative on my own, does not mean that I will not purchase things here again, or do not appreciate the things I have received in the past. Quite a few of my past purchases were to see what the theme did, and many of those have never actually been implemented on a site. I bought them because I liked them and wanted to ” play about ” with them. I will be less likely to buy as often as I did before because of the price increases, and far more likely to build my own to ” play around with ”. My Thanks Envato really was a sincere Thank You, I needed this incentive.

I do not have a problem paying for themes at the new prices, what I have a problem with is certain authors ignoring people, or whose support for the themes is less than stellar or non-existent. I hope that coupled with the new price hikes, authors also realize we are their bread and butter and offer better support. That said, many authors here are GREAT with support. I won’t name names atm about ” bad boys and girls “
