A simple, small request to Authors…Please can you actually read the upload instructions before uploading, if i have to reject another file for having incorrect sized preview or incorrect file names, i will scream.
Just a thought
EDIT : This isnt aimed at you MrChuckles, its aimed more at the new authors.
or missing help, or missing comments, or…

don’t worry, this is a common mistake, also mine
this is a flash ide issue, which selects the absoulte path. I’ve found the best solution is to always edit it manually

@fifty_tons: I was the reviewer rejecting your file, because the publish path started wit E:/...
This is not a problem for most buyers who understand what’s happening, but you should be aware that you could sell a file to a newbie who won’t be able to compile it.
Using a relative path is a timesaver also for the author who will not receive emails like: “your file doesn’t work” and so on… (or maybe, not that often)
best, marco

smskserdar, the reason Adobe changed “Flex Builder” to “Flash builder” is quite simple: from fb2 on it can be used to build flex projects, but also pure as3 projects. This caused much confusion as it was always seen as a “flex only” product. The truth is most as3 developers use flex builder because the flash ide is much more designer oriented.

P.S.: if you want to try out the new flash builder version, it’s now in beta: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/flashbuilder4_whatsnew.html

Why don’t you give haXe a try?
It’s multiplatform (can compile to flash 6/10, javascript, php, nekoVM and now c++). What’s good is that it’s very similar to actionscript

This game was made using haXe (the full website): http://mybrute.com/

Same as SaafiDesign, on a local server (OSX comes with svn already installed).
