Being part of the dev team working on the aviary suite, I have a couple of invitations for the phoenix image editor.

So I decided to give one to the flashden community, to the first one answering this post and asking for it.

found it: search on the automator help ( ‘contextual menu’ or something similar… I have an italian help )

Another good solution is to create an automator workflow.

You can then assign it to the contextual menu (don’t remember how, but it can be done)

that’s a perfect alternative

Quicksilver is the best solution for everything

If you are new to flash, I’d suggest to study as3 instead of as2, as it’s a step you will have to do sooner or later

if you are a windows user there is also flashdevelop which is opensource

an .app file is a folder in all aspects, it contains all (or most) of the files necessary to run the application

Just wondering why you referred to it as an app when flash gives it an exe extension.

.app is the “mac version” for .exe
