Alright I thought so since it happens at random. Anyway thanks for the quick replies guys.
First off all I apologise is this isn’t the place I can start this topic and it’s probably a long shot but hopefully someone can help. A friend of mine (yes really a friend, mine works perfectly :P) recently purchased a GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition. He has a weird problem which we really can’t find the answer for, or someone with a similar problem online. We’ve uploaded some footage on youtube so you can see how it looks. The weird thing is, it happens completely at random and it doesn’t matter if you move to camera or not.
These are the things we already tried: - Firmware update - Other SD cards - Filming with or without the GoPro housingLink to clip: http://youtu.be/eTN91YeU9x0
Thanks in advance.
Brilliant! The use of the tint effect was an eye opener, but it makes so much sense now. I just used the fill effect and parent it with the color control slider but then you can’t use the checkbox. It worked perfectly and i’ve just learned something new.
Many thanks felt!
Alright here we go.
I really like the idea of creating a checkbox for control the colors in a composition, however I don’t really know how I could make this. Here’s the ideal scenario. I have a main comp with control sliders which controls the color of the animation comps, for example the text. I want to have the possibility to shut off the expression in the animation comp so I will get the possibility to change the colors manually again. But also turn it on again if I want to keep using the control slider. For me it’s the point that you will be flexible with the colors and don’t have 15 control sliders for 15 compositions for example.
I know that you can simply disable the expression, but it’s more of a user friendly approach for buyers.
Thanks in advance
Sorry to bring back old topics but this is something that’s bugging me as well. I really like the idea of creating a checkbox, however I don’t really know how I could make this. I think I get the idea, you have a main comp where have your control slider. And in the animation comp you have a checkbox which shuts off the expression so you gain back control for the color of that particular composition leaving the others in tact. You could simply shut off the expression but you need to know how, I know how to do it, but a buyer might not.
Anyone know how I could make this?
Apart from it being a relatively simple animation, I also think that the whole glass concept isn’t going to work. You need to create all the lower thirds in After Effects, and most of the time people just want a alpha pre-rendered animation to use in Premiere or Final Cut. But like everyone else says, don’t get discouraged just see it as a motivation to make it better.
You basically need to ask the question your self, would I buy this template? In other words is it useful. The other thing is that if you bought a template you don’t want people to see immediately that it’s a template. That’s why I think that the “simple” clean slideshows sell pretty good, because the animation is simple but you can make it look great with your own content.
Well I can understand there is some confusion, but than again usely when I am purchasing something I make sure I know what i’m buying. I mean it’s not really cleaver to purchase something and than think how can I use it.
Don’t you think making a thread like this is just as unprofessional? Although I totally agree with you, there have been way to much of those threads lately.
But there are also people who are freelancers and doing this to pay there bills. How much I agree with you that the pleasure in creating new things is great and always deserves respect, it also has the risk in not selling well. And when you see a logo sting that has over a 1000 sales which proves it has a lot of people asking for such a template, why would you ignore that?
I do however think that your template shouldn’t be a 1 on 1 copy in name, music, and camera movements.
