3DOcean is dead. Or better to say it never went alive. And +1 for what dekurvajo said.
WELL RATE IT GODDAMNIT!!!
joking, email remainders are already a spamish, this is spam^2
^ lol not that kind of economists. More of a market-researcher economist, or is it just market researcher?

aleluja saidOk. i don’t want to sell for higher price. I’m created to work for free.
ArashFarivar saidThat’s the other way around. If you want to prevent an over-saturated category you lower the prices and sellers will submit less.
aleluja, you said “if sky video would cost as much as it is hard to make it (lets say $1) it still won’t get more sales so nobody would make videos that are so cheap.. ”.
I agree. But now, this is somehow happening I think.
thanks anyway
LOL
People make thousands of dollars monthly here. Yeah, they are working for free 100%!

aleluja said+1, but dont forget, Envato also often slap on the item’s asses in this cheap way…
...if you let users decide their prices totally, you would end up with over 70% of sellers setting $1 for a flyer design.
Well, people make mistakes. Reviewers decide the exact price (that’s why you can talk to them to go higher) but the price range is 99% a decision of an economist that knows what he’s doing. Of course, economists can’t be perfect, also.

On the other hand, if you let users decide their prices totally, you would end up with over 70% of sellers setting $1 for a flyer design. Maybe not at the moment you let sellers decide, but in a year I bet it would end like that. The theory that supports that lies in the game theory and the Nash equilibrium.
ArashFarivar saidWell the main is, besides how hard is it to make it, the demand and the competition. And then the prevention-of-death factor – the example you gave is a good one – if sky video would cost as much as it is hard to make it (lets say $1) it still won’t get more sales so nobody would make videos that are so cheap and don’t sell so the price must get high or you will kill category with sky videos – nobody would upload them.

ArashFarivar saidAnd how much will you earn out of that? Determining prices is not only based on how hard it is to make it. There are many factors.
no no this is not self promotion.
usually, I’m not happy with the prices. And sometimes, the prices are too little. Because if i point my camera somewhere, for example to the sky. And capture a video, This will be at least 5$. But i make an animation, and render it for many hours, They price it for 4$. I think, this is not fair.
or maybe i’m wrong?
What factors?

egemenerd saidYou can’t buy your theme and sell elsewhere?
Jaynesh saidNo, if you are an exclusive author you can’t sell your GPL themes elsewhere but everyone else can sell
Does that mean that technically you can sell your GPL themes elsewhere and still remain an exclusive author?![]()
