You can start with a standard size and “stack” the content, that’s what I did for my template, starting from a 2000px width. But my first version was 20 000px, and I thought it would be annoying for the user.
Thank you for your advice Keliah, how many “pages” did you have for the website that was 20,000 px
Hey there guys,
I have a question about a website I am designing.
I will be using jquery to make it a one page, horizontal scrolling website and I was wondering what kind of dimensions I should use for the Photoshop version.
Can you guys help me?
Thank you VERY much.
REALLY nice website, I love the white spacing
Good job Envato Team.
I would like to put emphasis on Themeforest having a new blog (http://tumblog.themeforest.net/) and that it is free file of the month therefore you can only obtain it for that month
My advice would be to submit a support ticket if you are looking for a staff response.
1and1 is quiet good, nut lunarpages domains are highest price
Yuk, 1and1.
terrible customer service.
My personal favourite is OVH .
They supply great customer support, no adverts during billing process, quick and easy.
All depends on you.
Thank you for your responses guys.
I was rejected the first time and I will be taking Bobyo’s advice
Every web designer can learn and practice web programming and dedicate his efforts to become a geek in web development field, at least he has a chance.A little off topic here but could it not be a girl?
On topic:
I think that it is good to be both a designer and a developer but I see it utter stupidity when some think that there is a need to learn it all.
Don’t get me wrong, knowledge is good but for someone who is primarily a designer,
HTML /CSS should be enough but instead I see some who go and try to learn every coding language there is, not mentioning any names [cough] Odesk. [/cough]
I say, be the best there is in a small amount of things rather then mediocre in many things.
