Slowly all these features will eventually take place, if they’re good and have sense. So even if they’re not implemented now we can continue with the flow of ideas. At the moment I feel we can concentrate more on the “readme file” and the documentation inside. This is a good idea Cruzine, also single authors can place a small mini questionary inside the file, or just a “call to Action”: give me feedback, tell me what you want next ecc.
many users already do that spontaneously, but only a few
Yes, this is nice idea. Maybe i’ll place something like this in readme file if it’s allowed. But still, will be cool if someone from envato will be thinking about this small feature.

Great idea. We could prepare it in HTML format or something, Envato can’t do everything.. Nice idea btw, a sort of interview after purchase. Or every now and then.. I bet some buyers want to write something.
Yea, thanks Giallo and I think also this informations about what buyers need and like will be interesting for authors. Maybe some buyer have some favorite author and need some product in style of this author.
Will be nice if buyer can fill some kind of form for author after purchase. Just some option in download section like rating. This form will have only information character without any contact info. Informations like: (what kind of items will need this buyer in future from this author or also recommendations how to improve product he just buy, if he have any problems with customization and so.) will surely help all authors here and i think also all envato sites.

Yeah, I’m also sure that someone gives 1star on purpose.. I think that one solution to avoid this problem can be that ratings must have a feedback.. a reason for the n. of stars given.. like: 5 stars: “awesssssoomeeeee!” 1 stars: “layers aren’t editable.. this sucks!” so maybe sometimes we can prove that the clients negative vote is unfounded and flag that vote as unvalid. but unfortunately, sometimes is just a miracle that clients clicks on a star to rate our item, so I think that would be more rare to have a review comment also!![]()
+1 You’re absolutly right indie

Same here. My item got approved but not shown on homepage. I contacted the support and just explained how the homepage display system works. No help, and no solution.
Yes, very sad story for some authors :/

I actually just followed an item, it took exactly one hour to change row, so for all the 4 rows it will be 4h, that must be the average life of an item in the main page (although bear in mind only one item per author can be there).
Its very random. Sometimes your item can be there also 1 day becouse reviewers are not working all day long.
