I have a basic subject that I am unable to figure out or at least find a solution for that I am hoping someone in the marketplace can contribute some info to.

1) Currently I have a wordpress site which I want to add a sign in to a certain page (Something like a register to read this page) . This will make it so that the user has to enter a username and password to see the content for that page. In Joomla you just change the permission levels but with Wordpress I cannot seem to figure out how to do this. Can anyone assist with some information?

2) Is it possible to embed a website directly into a wordpress page? In joomla this would be called a wrapper effect but in wordpress I have yet not been able to figure out this ability yet.

I’m currently looking for a couple plugins and am looking for any recommendations. I currently have a Wordpress site setup and need to figure out how I can complete these. Any recommendations welcome.

1) Rollover Tool Tip I am looking for a plugin or a way to add a Rollover Tool Tip to text that I need to pop up. The goal is to be able to rollover text and a Tool Tip window will open with a size of 900×600 which will allow for a website to display inside of it.

2) Welcome Box (auto pop-up) Here I am looking for a plugin or a way to add a Welcome Box (auto pop-up) that will open the first time you come to a website. The goal here is to allow me to create a image, video or small box that pops open the first time visiting a website and the customer can click the X to close it if not interested.

3) Search Is there a way to add a search to the website without using the one from the widgets? If so is there a search plugin for this? The goal here is to be able to place it anywhere inside the site instead of having to rely on the search widget.

I had a question I was hoping someone could assist with. Currently I am working on a blog that has been running for awahile. I have never had problems with images and text displaying. Once I upgraded the backend to the latest version of Wordpress 3.1 I began having problems.

When I create a new post and upload pictures and text I notice that the images and text clump together and do not stack properly. With the previous version of wordpress this was not a problem. Has anyone else experienced this and can anyone offer any suggestions on how to correct this?

Yea I think the Intuos 4 is the best way to go for what I’m looking to do. Now the problem is just size. I wish more places had these available to go and see what they looked like…

I am looking into possibly getting one of the Wacom Tablets and wanted to hear from some other designers. I am looking to have the ability to draw my designs direct onto the computer which I believe this tablet is the exact fit. My questions are as follows.

Anyone use this and which one do you use?

Does this allow to work directly with illustrator or do you have to draw direct into the program they supply?

Which one would you suggest to use?

I was excited and actually quite surprised with the update. The layout was the right direction. The functionality and lack luster components to it are not impressing.

Personally I live the last version better but just like anything the new is not always accepted. Give it 6 months and everyone will like it again
