Hey Martin,

Thanks very much for the update, it’s really appreciated!

When this all dies down, maybe you guys could consider adding a status.envato.com type page (on a different server), where you could post alerts to this effect? That’d give us all the information we need and avoid Envato support being bombarded with questions when something like this happens.

And thanks for all your hard work! DDoS attacks suck.

Also, for anyone else reading this, I’m getting a lot of false positives it seems and getting locked out, I assume because I click around the site pretty quickly. For anyone else that accesses a few pages and then the site stops loading, try going a bit slower and you shouldn’t get locked out :)

Thanks for rolling this out for CodeCanyon as well, guys! :)

By the way, I’m curious if a character limit ended up being instituted?

Btw, did any one notice a drop in sales these days?

Yup, a pretty substantial one. I hate DDoS attacks.

IT LAUNCHED :)
I added some text in the support settings but when I click on an item’s “support” tag I only see the FAQ’s?

Same here

EDIT: Works on ThemeForest, not on CodeCanyon

I’ve been having outages on about 70% of my visits, all through yesterday and today. What’s really frustrating is when I try to submit an item comment response and the connection has died.

It’d be awesome to have something like status.envato.net, where the status for all sites is shown, and current known outages are listed. I totally understand this stuff happens – I’ve been the victim of a DoS attack myself in the past 24 hours – it sucks and sometimes there’s nothing you can do. But being able to know that Envato is aware of the issue and working to fix it when these things happen would be fantastic :) This way we can know that Envato is on the case and we don’t need to report it – or that perhaps Envato is unaware (as this is clearly affecting certain locations more than others) and we can alert Envato to the problem.

Hey Ben,

Strange, I can’t seem to recreate it now. Originally it was occurring in Chrome for sure. I guess it’s been resolved?
