bobo, apparently they tried to do live video a few years back and they couldnt keep it up do to the large amt of people trying to stream it. So unfortunately the only way to view it live is through the live blogging, and apple usually has the video on the website a few hours after the keynote has ended. It sucks because I am on gizmodo and for some reason it isnt auto updating like it normally does, so I have to manually refresh the page every few minutes to get it. I usually just read tidbits here and there, and then watch the video afterwards.

Ya that thing looks awesome. Only thing is, if I am gonna spend close to 2 grand on an Apple I am going to go with a computer I can actually work on. I dont think a top speed of 1.8ghz will really do well with After Effects.

Damn you guys, we don’t have iPhones here! :D

“Backing up is something we all know we should do, but often don’t. And while disaster is a great motivator, now it doesn’t have to be. Because with Time Capsule, the nagging need to back up has been replaced by automatic, constant protection. And even better, it all happens wirelessly, saving everything important, including your sanity.”

I like the end of the description! :)

you should be fine with a loaded macbook pro. I don’t think anyone except serious 3D animators for cinema need something like a “Loaded” MacPro.
