Guys i am having a bit of trouble uploading an audio file. it is quite large (around 35MB all up), but twice now i have left it uploading for a while only for it to die on me…
Is there a filesize limit?
Im uploading audio as 32bit wav – very high quality im thinking maybe i should use 16 bit?

Hi Matt!
It’s a problem with how our current host allocates us memory (after a certain amount it kills off our processes). We’ve been aware of this shortly after we launched and started receiving uploads (videos in particular).
So to answer your question: no, there is no file size limit.
We’re moving to our own dedicated server to solve this problem (that’s right, we get all the RAM all to ourselves!). This will be complete in the next 3-5 days, I’ll let you know when we’ve moved!
I apologise for this, it must be very frustrating uploading a big file only for it to go ‘sorry!’.
Ryan.
No worries glad to hear about the dedicated server

Yay, dedicated server is going to rock your sox
And we’re upgrading to 1tb of tier 1 bandwidth so the site should feel a little smoother too!
Awesome!
Great
