Business Card Backgrounds?

I want to make some backgrounds for business cards. Do you think this a good idea; do people need them?

Also, what is a standard size for business cards and what sort of themes (abstract, patterns, grunge, 3D, nature etc.) do you suggest?

Standard size of a business card is 3.5×2 inches. I would suggest you design simple yet attractive based themes. If you look at the best selling business cards here you will notice that the simple designs are the ones that get the most sales. If you are looking at being creative then you can try 3d, grunge etc. if you want to make money try simple and minimal. Business cards are perhaps the easiest to design and the easiest to get approved

I had same idea couple of month ago…. and i made a item but didn’t get much response from buyers…. I saw a file [card bgs] in here many days ago.. If you can bring some new and interesting idea on it then it will be great… and it is a good idea already..

Definitely do it! It has not been done that many times, and if the patterns or designs are good, you should get some sales!
