hi i have a question about copyright issue! i searched a little in forum but nothig found! if i design a trademark logo(for example:Gmail) in vector or design an animation character (for example: mickey mouse) i violated copyright?

By “design” do you mean “copy”?

If so it will depend on the copyright terms as they apply to the image you copy. You would probably have no chance of copying a Disney character and using it in any commercial application without paying royalties.

If its a copy, its 100% copyright violation. I’m sure support would tell you the same, but contact them to be sure.

You have to assume that no major corporation is going to allow you to use their material unless they benefit in some way.

and even beyond that, even if they do benefit, you do not get to use their stuff without their explicit permission! I hear this used as an excuse sometimes, “my use of their stuff actually helps promote them so it’s OK” but that’s bogus. The owner gets to decide whether or not you can use their stuff regardless of whether or not your use helps or hurts them.
