Country List :)

I was just thinking it would be cool to be able to show the Scotland flag as my country, rather than the UK. Since there aren’t many authors based in Scotland, and it is a country after all. But it’s not available on the list. There are some obscure countries on the list, like Svalbard, which definitely has more polar bears than Envato authors.

So devs feel free to add the Scotland flag if you have time!

EDIT : Better add Wales as well, or they will get annoyed.

Altough I’m not from the UK, I agree with ToivoMedia. Would make sense. And doru idea is also good! I’m am actually very curious to see those stats.

I think it would be cool to see a chart of the top authors from each country. Especially since I think I’m the top GR author from Scotland! It would encourage competitiveness too. I suggested ages ago there could be a competition with authors from each country, like an Envato Olympics.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against one additional country in a list… But, then, wouldn’t it be the same like asking for all 50+ US states to be added separately? I’m sure there are other examples like this in the world… Imagine the chaos that’ll make

but, then, many other minor stuff are constantly overlooked by Envato staff and devs (for example, list of followers or people you follow), so don’t get hope for it to appear any time soon

No, Scotland’s relationship to the UK is completely different to the way the USA is made up of states. Scotland, Wales and England are all individual countries whereas the states of america are one country. Hope that makes sense?

I agree with ToivoMedia it should be an option to show the Scottish Flag.

The flag you have is the flag for the united kingdom, having a scottish flag isnt necessary as scotand is part of the uk. Equally, english ppl could ask for the english flag, red cross on white .

So i see no issue with the uk flag, representing countries within the uk, one of which is indeed Scotland.
