Going back to what the post was originally about, I am really excited about cs4. Especially the 3d and IK stuff.
It is a lot closer to MXML in that you’re using 2 different languages in your app.
Like MXML , you’re using one language (a markup based language) to import components, create graphics, assign attributes and set parameters (MXML for Flex and XAML for Silverlieght) and you’re using a separate language for core logic (AS for Flex and usually C# for Silverlight).
But if you look at the whole work flow, it’s also comparable to Flash because the main tool for creating XAML (Expression Blend) is a lot closer to Flash than FlexBuilder. Expression Blend has a full suite of vector tools, timeline based animation, etc.
