Default View is now Grid-Style

In order to better display graphic images and make it easier for buyers to browse, the default view for browsing files is now the “grid” style. The grid style provides less unessential attributes and just focuses on the thumbnail and image, making it more graphics-oriented. (Price and sales # also still appear.)

The default view is based on your cookies, so you may not see the grid view until your cookies refresh, but it’s in place for new users right now! I think it’s a BIG improvement to the site’s browsing, so I hope you guys like it.

Update: If grid isn’t your style, I forgot to add that you can still always switch back to “List” view by clicking the button at the top of the right column.

i like the new style, it’s way better than the previous one! it’s just my opinion or the search field did lose its visibility a little bit?

It looks great. Make’s the files easy to scan which will be great for both authors and buyers.

It’s not like this feature wasn’t already there but i can guess that not so many visitors used it.

I don’t really like it. Prices are a little difficult to see and everything looks mixed up. JMHO .

Agree with SilencePlease though, search need to be brought out more.

I like the list view the most because is showed more details about items.

Thanks for the change! I think it’s a big improvement and puts the items more on display. Plus you can always change back to the other view if you don’t like it! I bet some users in the past didn’t even know they could change the view!

I agree with @silenceplease, that the search box could use a bit more definition of some sort.
