You guys shouldn’t care much about money when creating files, let do it for your love of FlashYes I’m bluffing but that’s what I tend to think of everyday

+1 Either due to attraction towards Flash or atleast with the understanding of areas where Flash is unavoidable.
I still consider Flash files can be profitable as stock but the only difference from the past is authors should care too much about “Why it should be in Flash”. For the past 10 years, I clearly see Flash has limited areas to serve and as micro-stock, it has even reduced areas to fit and authors needs facing tough task of playing withing small area. But area is so much wider when you compare WP!

You guys should seriously consider mobile as your additional area of expertise. It’s a fresh market and Adobe is pushing hard to promote Flash on multiple device.

^ Is there any way to test web pages on mobile devices without purchasing devices?
RimV saidThere is a lot of confusion regarding flash and Mobil’s, you have so many versions out there regarding Pad, Mobil phone OS and the compatibility when making flash app` for Mobil’s, even upgrade on Android Os can mass things around, different Mobil’s machine is also a subject.

It’s time for Adobe to add a good flash Mobil software with good simulation testing base on brands, until then sorry but i can’t see this flash sector lift up strong regarding Mobil’s unless you target yourself on a specific area of Mobil’s + the Mobil’s sector moving so fast on 6 month level time, and that’s the only thing you will be able to focused on a time frame for massive sell app`s.
Making compatibility for a web site and mobile is a killer job on time frame so additional area of expertise as add on is not something of comprehensible, but hey it’s all a matter of time until this sector will be worldwide adapt, I still think there is some way to go in time before it will be something mandatory for us flashers

I’ve been digging lately into Flash CS 5 .5 and was intrigued by the compilers for iPhone and Android. Maybe we could give them a try?

The unavoidable problem is simulating touch events on a normal monitor
(or a device other than native)
Looks like individual developers can’t grow much on mobile industry…
Too many brands and upgrades to consider! I don’t think developers/businesses will invest time on Flash with such a difficult condition, more chances to stop with html. Don’t curse me but what Apple did seems to be right… more trouble to those devices that shows Flash as chances are too low for mobile optimized Flash content even after couple of years
After this month will slowly improve sales. At least I hope so. It was similar last year.
