E WORLD - beta 2 - launch

Got some great ideas collected so far guys

• minigames (where you get to compete against one another)
• interactive furnature
• character interaction ( we’re currently working on this guys )
• PMing – i’ll try and get this sorted as soon as
• a global virtual currency
• purchase virtual space / houses / rooms

More than one chat session at the same time?

I have a suggestion for you guys. There should be 2 meetups daily on the e-world beta. Why 2? Well because some people might be sleeping and some people might be awake. If we just run e-world without no timing it’s going to be all over the place. We should NOT have the meet-up from lets say 5 pm EST to 8 PM EST . We SHOULD have the meet-up from like from 5 PM EST to the next meetup. Then the next meet up will start lets say, I don’t know, whatever the timing on the other side of the globe would be. So everybody participates. Why have it like this? Well because this should be a “chill-out” spot, not a meeting or something. So you can leave whenever you want, but as long as you know when we start meeting up, so you don’t just go into the chat room and find nobody. I hope you guys get what I mean lol. It might sound a little confusing because, I am typing super fast. I have to get back to work.

Hehe, I can give you a free license for jsCountdown (in JavaScript) if you like, lol, you could either keep it in JavaScript or put it into AS as they share the same date objects, other than that there wouldn’t be much to change math-wise just the CSS sprite part

Nice work DS and Reaper. Have not tried it out much but I would suggest adding a number next to the marketplace rooms so you can see if anyone is in the room before entering it.
