Just wanted to make sure I am not missing something. Is there any tool / method that helps finding if a flash file works within certain CPU percentage? For example, we have ‘Simulate Download’ option while publishing in Flash which helps testing with different download speeds.

Any similar tools that helps understanding how a script / Flash file will perform with different processor, memory configurations?

Well that a hard one to check since you measure your CPU base on you own machine and this cannot be state on a general PC/Mac on other user machine, so you need to test it on verity machines, you can start with the state class and work around it and extend the class by adding private function to test private proses Cpu class function like enter frame bla bla .or to make your on extend class ,just remember this is only logic ,as if you have let’s say 2 open enter-frame that doing a hard task ,your CPU will jump hard any way You can start with a simple state class at first.

just remember the key is to test it on low machines with less ram ,I say low is about 1.5-2 gb ram as start if it’s an issue for your app . other then that i don’t think you can find a tool file that will perform with different processor memory configurations, to much of a fuss any way

that would be usefull to be able to track the cpu usage just as we track the memory usage.
