I recently shifted to Mac and I’m having some trouble with the fonts.
I was working on a game project on Flash in Windows previously. I had a couple of custom fonts installed that I was using.
Everything is running fine on Mac but I can’t seem to get the custom fonts running. I download the fonts, install them, they appear in Font Book but I can’t see them in Flash nor in TextEdit(I’ve tried restarting the apps a number of times).
I’m using Lion. (Mountain Lion is being downloaded. 2.53GB / 4.34; we have slow connection here).
Oh, and by the way, I’m loving my new Mac.
Also, for the reference, here is the font that I’m trying to use. Its free so you can try it out as well.

That’s odd, I’m getting the same behaviour for that font! That’s the way I always installed fonts, though. Perhaps it’s hiding in the font list under a different name? Font Book calls it “GROBOLD” though.
Ha. Just tried it now and it worked perfectly fine. The Mac just needed a reboot, I think.
Anyways, thanks!

Glad it worked out for you – Grobold didn’t appear for me yet, even after a reboot, though
I’ll see if it ever shows up..
