Forum feedback...

Hi guys, I’ve been reading through the forums and I see that there is some feedback happening regarding file approval times and file quality overall.

I hear you and will be talking to the guys about: a) speeding up the approval process somehow, and b) potentially raising the quality bar on FD.

So we will definitely do that, thanks for the feedback! However, I really really do not want to see any pointing to certain files or authors to illustrate the latter concern. I definitely don’t want to see comments on individual files.

If you have a genuine concern about a file then send it to Support and we’ll re-evaluate it, but to make comments about certain files or authors is inappropriate and could hurt people’s feelings.

I like to think we’re a community that is supportive and encouraging of all levels of ability and experience. We may not be able to approve every file that is uploaded, but we as a community should always keep it constructive and positive!!

So rest assured we’re working on your concerns. We may not be able to resolve it tomorrow (because it takes time to hire people, revise policies etc) but we are listening and we will work on it!

Good to hear. I’m always disappointed when people insult a file. Not just links on forum threads, but also negative comments on the file itself. It seems very heartless to me, since the author probably put a lot of work into the file; whether people are interested in it or not.

Thanks for actually listening to the buzz on the forums. The fluent communication that Flashden has with its authors and customers, is one of the reasons I stick around here. Keep up the good work!
