Hey guys,

I’m trying to change the MAC address of the ethernet adapter of an iMac running Snow Leopard, because the ISP only allows a specific MAC address, which is obviously different than the built-in one.

So far I’ve had success by issuing the sudo ifconfig en0 lladdr 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx command in Terminal. However, the setting is lost once the iMac reboots. That’s where I need your help. Is there any way of automating the process at startup time, in order to avoid entering the commands every single time I boot up the iMac?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Wonder to help, but i didn’t even know that it was possible to change the ethernet mac address. I read about you can “simulate” being another mac to enter in some cracked wifis, but not that you can change it in the adapter directly.
