Hello Readers,

I’m Roland and I posted this thread because I need some help with some items getting accepted here. I put a lot of work in a set of icons, but it seems that something is wrong and I cannot figure it out. I am a little disorganized and that may be the problem, but anyway if someone is able to help I would appreciate it :)

Thank you :D

So what did the reviewer say? They usually point out what you need to do….

This is what he / she said but I have no idea what to do. I can show you the preview if you want : “1) The idea is good but the design don’t all match. Some are very thin and some are thick. An icon set should have the same style for each design so they can be used in any order and still look balanced. “

Well, I think that’s a good hint by the review already.

To really help you out it would be useful to see some sort of preview?

Cheers

Chris

maybe you should use same style for all your icon set. it mean if you design with thicker border, should applied for all icon with same style.

It sounds like the icons you created, although similar, are too different to be included together as a set. Try to make them all the same with a few minor changes here and there. Being consistent will not only help your icons look like they belong together, they’ll also be more attractive to potential buyers in the market :)

Thanks, Josh

Some hints:

  • Keep the stroke thickness equal on all icons;
  • Use one design criteria for a type of object (ex: you have several different icons for a page)
  • Try to use one style across all icons (some are filled, others are outlined….)

    Hope it helps! ;)

    OK. I see. So a good idea it would be to remove the ones that are stroked or thick and keep the thin ones and make a pack of it, and the pack should contain a set of icons that will fit only one purpose.

    Hope it works, thank you for your opinion :)
