how do you contact developers?

I would like to contact a developer who has work on this site to discuss some potential private work, but can see any way to contact them. How do i do this please?

Just click the “username” of that developer. That will lead you to the profile page of that developer. Scroll down, and to the right of the page, you will see email box. Enter your message there and click “Send”.

now that explains pretty well that why most of the buyers contact through other means, there needs to a “Contact Author” button on item pages

ah it only appears when registered and logged in – prolly worth the site admin adding a default display to say that contact is enabled with registeration or people may walk off as i did 3 months ago, just came back again, bit some may not.
