I was curious. What is the average age of authors here at Envato market places? Are you over 18 and working or freelancing and selling sock items? or student who is trying to get some extra money? Or still in the primary school, using your free time and skills to earn your first money?
When I grew up there were no internet, no computers (only at school with win95) there were no free tutorials and no marketplaces but i had tons of free time which I’m lacking now. My thought was that with computer and internet available in every home, with free tutorials, with lot of free time even in your 16 you can be almost a professional designer and earn selling stock items. I’m wondering is this really happening?
By the way: I’m 25, married, have daughter, my main income is from freelancing and VideoHive.

22yo at the moment, 23 in one month. Just earning some passive income from here, main business is freelancing and few agencies.
Starting a round the world trip next month too, that is going to take many, many months and I work on the road when I can. Btw, right now I’m modifying a template for my RTW blog!

turned 23 last month, graduated from uni this year, working freelance for myself and lecturing Flash / Unity3D. Been with my girlfriend, who is running a marathon next weekend , for 3 very happy years
Main income is my freelancing / lecturing, when I get the time i’ll invest more time in files here but for now it pays my hosting and lunch
