Imput text doesn't work in full screen ?

Hi , i realized that any imput text doesn’t work in a a full screen mode in flash, i have make a test also with the TRIWORKS template and the imput text on the contact form is not working too , I creating a site in a full screen mode but i need to use the imput text working .

I think is a bug from flash , If you have any idea or solution please comment it Cheers André

keyboard input in fullscreen mode is not allowed due to security reasons.

yes , keyboard is completely disabled when flash is in full screen , except for the ‘Esc’ button , there is no way around this restriction.

Thanks for you replay Saafi , I think i will consider to make a full screen pop up but i’m against pop ups i will see …

What are designers doing about this problem , i have seen so many websites in The FWA awards in a full screen mode but i never try to use the imput texte , maybe i will check again it must be a solution for that .

sure there is you just have to edit your flash install files, or use java “hacks”.

I developed a small flash keyboard to be used… But I think it’s a little annoying to type your message on a 350×100 thing…

Can you be more specific

many people have developed java “hacks” to get around this problem like when you go full screen in flash the java file will listen for keyboard input instead of flash then input the text to flash. Just like how people used to use java to get fullscreen mode in flash 8.

Anyway, what security reasons? I’m courius now…
