Hi Guys,

Can anyone share his experience with International Money Transfer for payment request from Flashden? Even better if you’re from UK, even better if you have a Nationwide account :D

Is the currency conversion rate better than Paypal? Are there any charges? And how long does it take?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, it took just few days – 3/4 – and there is a fee of 25$ (Italy)... i think it is a much better solution than paypal… in any case the currency conversion sucks from dollars to euros, especially now that 1€ = 1.4$ :-(

We are losing 40% of our earnings because the conversion… this is terrible :-(

I make transactions from FD to moneybookers account and then from moneybookers to my bank, and only fee I pay is about 2 dollars, this is probably the best way.

It’s still $50 though, do you guys pay a fee when receiving money from Flashden to Paypal?

I don’t pay any fee for money I receive from Flashden as FD is considered as a “verified buyer”, and when comparing paypal currency conversion rates, it is not that much different than the ones I find on the net.

But I remember DS saying Paypal takes a big chunk, anyone pays a fee at paypal when receiving money from flashden?

@LGLab

As i know we can withdraw money to MoneyBookers here on FlashDen. This system has very low fees (with SWIFT or other means), but better study their fees by yourself, because i do not remember specific rates.

Well the thing is I don’t pay any fee at Paypal for money coming from FD, I just thought I may be losing out on their conversion rates, but if I have to pay $50 at my bank for receiving a SWIFT it may not be as advantageous as I thought.

as i know MoneyBookers has really low fees, look here

http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=fees

And btw, MoneyBookers is a UK company, so, for UK citizens it should be even better (well, maybe you will loose some money during transfer from FlashDen, but i do not think that this fee is more than 2-3 %)
