You know how there was a policy put in place where if an author uploads 10 items in a day only one of the items will show on the homepage? And how this practice was essentially put in place because of PhotoDune? Can we get that same behavior for the “items by people you follow” section? Sometimes I visit the homepage and all I see are 9 PhotoDune items by the same author. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but when my “followed” section of the page is dominated by 9 photos from the same author I usually end up un-following the author. Thing is, I’m still interested in their work! I just want to see other people’s work too.
(and customers probably want to see a variety of work as well in that section)
Yes!
I’d follow more people if wasn’t for the flooding of that section.

Absolutely. I have un-followed a lot of awesome photodune authors just because of this.

Ah was wondering why one of my files were off the home page.. I understand the logic for photodune, but very rarely does someone upload a whole whack of files on AD
Great idea! I love this, because I still want to see “examples” sexy work on graphicriver, I just don’t want to see every single one of there 312 photodune shots.
+1
Really great Idea, never thought about it until this post.
Would be a nice improvement

grrrrr… why not AD categorized like Site Templates, Gallery etc? LOL
Phew, it was age old complaint now who cares?
Congrats DS for new file
. Nowadays homepage exposure doesn’t going to make any difference though.
