Mac OS X Lion

I just downloaded and installed Mac OS X 10 .7 and have to say the experience was unbelievably fast and seamless. It’s so nice to not have to venture out to the Apple store, pick up a set of DVDs, come home, pop the disc in and run the installation.

And to think it’s now only $29.99.

So far I’m loving the new Mail app, Launchpad and Mission Control. Very cool!

Has anyone else installed it yet? Let’s hear your opinions!

I’m tempted to install it over the weekend but I need to look to see if there are any bugs so far with graphics programs and software compatibility… I have to make sure my work does not get interrupted.

I’ve been having some problems with Firefox.

Both AE CS3 and CS5 are working so far. Haven’t tried Illustrator or Photoshop yet, but AE is usually the buggiest of the 3.

DL’ing and installing now. Fingers crossed!

All of my CS5 Adobe apps have been working just fine, including AE CS3 . Plugins seem fine too. Very happy with it so far. Definitely no Final Cut X situation here!

I have a copy of FCPX but haven’t installed yet. I think it will cause me to go into an epileptic seizure!

Already installed on the MBP , no time to play with it yet.I will wait to install it on my main machine ,since I’m working on a couple of non VH proj.Here first know small issues .Hope that’s help

Using the “space bar” option to play quicktime files doesnt work on pro codecs. STUPID . Additionally neither does Quicktime X. I have to open pro QT files in QT PRO .
