I have a Quicktime Movie that I want to play through Flash. I have never touched this area of things before but can anyone give me some advice on what is the best method for me to play it back? Or convert it?
I can import it into my Flash file and it seems to stream over the web ok but is that the best way? (I hinted it for streaming using Quicktime Pro)
I am using Flash MX (I do have access to Flash MX 2004 Pro). A little bit of research tells me to use .FLV but is there a way to convert to this format with the tools I have? (I am on a Mac by the way)
Thanks

You can import your movie in to Flash and then make sure you don’t embed the movie… and it will create a FLV file next to your FLA file

Hi Mucx,
The best tools out there are Sorenson Squeeze and Adobe’s After Effects.
I use them both. Easier to use is the first.
