Hi capmaticenvato!

I wish there was a simple solution to your problem but unfortunately, given the great variety of the Flash web applications and the code behind them which can be 99% different from website to website, looking for a universal solution to implement multilanguage functionality into one is like going to a car mechanic and asking them how to add an extra gear to a car, any car, that is.

My advice is, hire a skilled Flash developer to get familiar with the specific Flash application you have in mind and then hopefully they’ll figure out the best way of adding multilanguage capabilities to it.

Hope this helps

Dani

Hi capmaticenvato ,

If the flash website is loading the data through XML files. One could simply load a different XML file of other language. Given the font embedded supports the characters of that language. I Can take a look at the files and propose a solution, you can contact me via my profile page http://activeden.net/user/Marvidude#from .

Same as HTML it’s a pain with flash also, the key is leaned with the embed font with flash.

There are 3 preference methods: .

1 .one project include few language base on cms and share run time font ,that is the expanse way to go and require higher skills as a flasher but it’s the most easy on the edit+ it’s also more heavy website.

2 .one project include few language base on XML and share run time font ,that is also expanse way to go and require higher skills as a flasher + someone need to know what he is doing when you edit the XML .

3. On first entry you give language option then lunch the website that is more preference way to go for the non pro flasher on the edit (XML base) and lass expansive to make then the other 2 option. ---------.

All this is good take out any RTL language from the equation, working with RTL (XML external ) can double or sometime triple your cost on the making .

its rare that i see top notch multilanguage flash website ,it’s also one of the most costly project to make with flash.

I keep forgetting his name there is one Italian guy here that in my opinion have the best multilanguage flash website on all the envato market, and from some who can handle almost 10 language i am qualified to say so :P
