Out of curiosity i know that there are stock sound files we can use in our files or if we produce our own we can use that! What are the rules on using a mix in templates or for examples in music players.

I’m asking this cause i DJ as well and have lots of various mixes saved on the computer and was wondering does this infringe on copy right because its sort of my own work aswell… if that makes sense.

im guessing that the mixes you have made use songs that are originally the property of the artists and record labels that released them.

So in this case i would have to say no, you cant use these mixes.

Sorry

For the music 3 things are allowed.

1- music that you have made by yourself, no mix and no compilation, only 100% original music. 2- Use the music provided by envato. 3- Make a deal with a musician or a music company that allow you to sell your files with their music. In that case you will have to provide a proof to envato that you have the right to use that specific music.

Hope that helped :)

One more thing to add to the list: You are welcome to approach AudioJungle authors to use any of their awesome AudioJungle audio. However, to do so, you must follow the list of simple rules below:

  1. You must always have the AudioJungle author’s permission to use any of their audio
  2. You must link to the file in your file description when you upload your Flash file to FlashDen e.g. The music in this file is from AUTHOR NAME and can be purchased here: (LINK TO AUDIOJUNGLE PAGE )
  3. The watermarked audio file must be used
  4. Audio without a watermark must not be distributed in the downloadable file that you are selling

One more piece of advice: If your FlashDen file contains ANY kind of audio (no matter where it came from), always tell us where the audio comes from in the “comments from author to reviewer” field, please. Otherwise your file is likely to get rejected if we do not know where your audio is from.

Finally, here’s a useful forum thread over at AudioJungle that will help you find some willing AudioJungle authors to collaborate with. Good luck! :)
