Hey guys,

I’d like to have a pop at making some simple sound/music for my next template, but I have no experience whatsoever…

Anyone here is playing/creating with music and if so can you suggest a good tool for a newbie.

Cheers!

Reason is cool, and pretty simple to use. Cubase is also cool, but it’s a bit more complicated.

lol, that is actually after listening to some of the tunes from both your latest templates that I decided to give it a try…thanks guys.

Hey 50, I really like the song #2 in your last template (“first sample”), why didn’t you put it in first, for branding and stuff…?

Cheers!

Start on fifty advice Reason for start then when you get the hang of it FL or Cubase will do the best work for you but some learning is needed.

I would say that FL is definitely the easiest to learn to make good basic loops and tracks for multimedia. Reason is more powerful for higher level work, tracks especially, but for anyone not familiar with actual audio hardware, it’s a bit more challenging.

If you want the quickest learning curve and great results for writing music for your templates, I would start with FL.
