Hi,

I recently spent quite a while designing a new button set, 19 detailed buttons to be precise. Each button is made 100% from scratch, however they got rejected.

My question is how did these get rejected when my previous button set was of less quality than this particular set? lol ! I dont understand.

COMPARED TO THIS (not my file, used for example purposes)

Seriously, i think my buttons are much much higher quality….

That’s right, your set looks good :)

It sounds like they have strict specifications, you can make some adjustments for the design and resubmit it, don’t give it up ;)

Could be as simple as say, 19 buttons vs 612 buttons? There is some serious ‘value for money’ in the 612 pack…

Problem you might find is that with smaller packs it is all about consistency – ideally it needs to be a set rather than a random group (even if they are nicely put together). The icons themselves are fine but I think you might be losing impact with the many different style of buttons, but, by all means do different styles just create a new ‘set’ – so one complete set would be all dark and rounded with those icons and the next all square/light etc; hence consistency.

Best plan is to take each buttons ‘theme’ (aka rounded and silver) and make a set of those with each icon. This would, of course, make your pack potentially 19 times as big – but that would be real value for money if they were all high quality, no?

Just a note: personally I would go for a smaller high quality pack over a massive pack where the quality is spread thin…

Did you submit the images with your own watermark or did you just put that on for here? Is so, this may be why.
