Hi all,
2 times until now, a conversion of a PHP template (so was approved for sales) has been rejected…
I need you opinion about the request of the reviewer….
What is the difference between :
The actual : http://d.pr/DDpt
His wants : http://d.pr/nL93
and that is just an example of all the 7 (!!!) points he wants i change…
so the reviewer asked me to change the design of a design already approved by himself !!
o.0
Do i have to think he dislike the design and he wants i change it AS he wants ? (i refuse that !)
What do you think about that ?

Hahahaha !!!
He wrote : Paragraph text line-height is generally best set between 1.4-1.6em, depending on the size of text. Here is your paragraph line-height: http://d.pr/DDpt and here is a version set at 1.55em: http://d.pr/nL93
He talk about the difference between 1.4 and 1.55 !! ....... It’s a joke ???

Hi Devilcantburn, we will slightly increase standards after while to make sure we are providing the best to the buyers. So, its pretty normal to get a rejection on an already approved item.
We also do not include our personal taste when reviewing. How? I don’t know how to explain, its hard, but, its possible
I saw that file is in the queue now, on hold as the reviewer is seeking inputs from others. So, you can see, its not about personal taste here.
I will review your file by tomorrow ( if possible ), because the queue is having some technical problem now – http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/the-queues-are-down/39590 ( it may not affect your file, but to be safe, I think we should wait for the fix first ).
I hope this help

Hey Kailoon,
Yeah sure it’s not about a personal taste !
but it’s really strange for me to read the points he note !...
I will do the demo EXACTLY as the PHP version with the same content… maybe that can help him (or you ) to see it’S the same… with the same standard… it’s the same code !.
I hope that

K, I will check it out tomorrow
And who is the reviewer?
I’ve downloaded both images and compared the files – the same.

Devilcantburn,
As Kailoon stated, our requirements increase over time, which I explained in relation to your already approved item (from mid-last year).
With regards to the image links you posted, I accidentally uploaded the wrong example image. My apologies. However, I did explain what I did and, for the most part, why. Design isn’t entirely subjective, there are general rules and those are what I use for reviews. The difference between 1.4em and 1.55em can be significant and when we’re in the business of “pushing pixels”, every pixel counts.
Here is the original image: http://d.pr/fD7I
Here is the edited suggestion: http://d.pr/aPR9
If you take your original design paragraph text and set the line-height to 1.55em, you’ll see there’s a significant difference.
So, I went out of my way to explain, in-depth, why I was rejecting your submission and gave a full list of very specific areas or elements that needed improvements, along with ways you might consider improving them.
I’d like to reiterate that my reasons for rejection are based on design principals, not personal taste. You could easily improve the theme and have it up for sale in a matter of hours.
And to reiterate, files accepted long ago are subject to revised standards.
