new homepage for Envato Marketplaces?

Hi @ all.. months and weeks ago I did read from a new homepage for our marketplaces.. a re-design, which 5 of our best webdesigner from ThemeForest should submit (or already submitted) a design, and from them (I think) collis choose the best…......

did I dream? or is that in the making?

redesign vs functionality?...i personaly feel is OK how the marketplace sites looks like, but some improvements on the home page functions maybe good. Talking about rotating more items on the homepage and maybe make the “featured” part popup on front of the tabber as first item would be cool. Same on footer “recent items” can use an extra row so that the # of items in rotation is 12 instead 9 only…i see there is a space and the small tweak in the code doesnt need to be a rocket science. This are my 2 cents

web design includes functionality, and much of the functionality will be updated, or so we’ve been told through various conversations with staff on FD

A redesign is in the works, but I can guarantee you that there wasn’t a contest. You might be referring to when Envato asked a few well-respected designers for their input.

The new design is still a ways off, but I can assure you that it’s great!
