The time has come to bring on another reviewer, but this time it’s for the new Unity 3d category!

The duties of the reviewer include pricing files, accepting and rejecting files, keeping an eye out for copyright violations, making sure files work properly, and communicating with members via email. You will be the only Unity expert on the team (for now) so I’ll be asking for your advice on all kinds of topics. related to how AD will move forward with the category. Those are just the basics. As the reviewer, I will also need you to help out with support tickets and other ActiveDen-related tasks. Much of your job will require you to interact with authors, staff, and other users. You must be able to interact with people politely and professionally, regardless of the situation. Hot heads need not apply. :) You must be proficient in Unity, and also be able to write proficiently in English.

It’s not required, but it’d be nice if you knew Flash as well. That way if you have downtime, you could review Flash files as well. It’d also be great if you were an Envato author with a good knowledge of how the site works.

You can work remotely from any part of the world and whenever you want. When and where really doesn’t matter as long as you can complete a minimum of 5 hours per week. The pay starts at $30/hr.

If you’re interested, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to email me with any questions regarding pay, duties, or anything else. To apply, email me at sitemanager at activeden dot net. Make sure the subject of the email is “Unity reviewer position.”

Please include:
  • your full name
  • a link to your Envato profile (if applicable)
  • links to any Unity works you’ve created or been a part of (be sure to list what part of the project you did)
  • a paragraph or two stating why you think you’d make a great reviewer

[edit] I got some applications that lead me to believe I didn’t explain very clearly. Sorry. You would not be writing reviews. By reviewer, I mean someone who judges the content and decides whether or not it’d be acceptable to sell as stock on ActiveDen. Thanks!

Just select the normal (not pro) version and it’s free. https://store.unity3d.com/shop/

Yeah but… wouldn’t that be… sort of illegal to sell them? If you get the ” non pro ” version ? ... when you sell files… well…. aren’t you kind of pro ?

You can sell files commercially with unity.

He’s right. The difference between pro and normal is the features, not what you’re allowed to do with the files.

you’d have to have different categories for the version, Unity 2.X and Unity 3.X as well as for Standard / Pro for each of those…

May even be one for iPhone / iPad stuff too for those versions :) ;)
