The beach scene looks brilliant! Reminds me of FarCry.
The future of gaming is certainly in the online realm, where instead of buying a game disc, you just stream it from the publisher’s server. This should also reduce piracy.

javascript is grosse, Period. You have to write functions inline as fields of objects to get anywhere near an OOP approach, its just yuk! 
AS3 is lush
