Have you seen Gizmodo’s review of Mountain Lion? They’re really ticked off because they’re banned from all Apple events but to just blast OS X is silly.
They act like Windows 8 is better, but Windows 8 should honestly be tablet only. No professional is going to use a 27” touchscreen display because fingerprints will just ruin everything. I like that OS X brings you the functionality you love from your mobile (such as launchpad, notification center, etc) to the desktop in such a way that it just works.
Also, lovin’ that game center is on OS X . I absolutely love the games the Mac App Store offers, and what it doesn’t, Steam makes up for. I think I’d drop PC completely and just live with my ps3 and a mac.

I was entitled to a free copy but I bought it anyway as that looks like it will take a few days to process (impatient). Just wondering.. is anyone else sick of the Pseudo linen, leather and paper or am I the only one?

I personally love the feel that you’re looking at something like a REAL notepad, or calendar, whatever it may be. Feels less like you’re in a controlled box where everything HAS to be the same or you’ll be shot.

I too was entitled to a free copy but bought it accidentally as I thought it would recognise my account automatically but you guys seem to think it will take a while to process so oh well
