you have to apply it to the viewport I think, or the materials themselves and then update the material property… not as easy as it should be :(

been while since I fooled with pv3d, but here:

MaterialObject3D

This is the base class for Materials, and the prop is fillAlpha. That seems like a good property to test first :)

Yes you have to set the alpha to the material… btw if it’s just a cube ok, but if you have many faces consider that the alpha will stress the cpu so much, decreasing the smoothness of the 3d animations…

First I want to thank you for your help.

I tried to do this before, but it seems that the material is changing the alpha but I can still see the primitive under it.

Any idea why? Is there any property for primitive to set it visibility or alpha ?

For Greatwhite set the cube property useOwnContainer to true and specify its alpha directly from the cube

myCube.alpha = 0.5;
