I have just spent half a day (well a couple of hours) trying to find a particular type of image gallery – - I need an aS3 gallery with the thumbnials arragened in a grid which is replaced by a large image when a thumb is clicked – - For the most part the thumbnails and descriptions give absolutely no clue as to the layout of the galleries. Worse : some thumbnails give the impression of what I needed only to find the file looks nothing like the thumbnail when I click through to it. eg
so just to see if it looks right I have to click every file – and then often have to click the full screen preview too just to see the layout.
How about if a file uses a full screen preview the author must upload a (scaled down) representative (possibly composite) screenshot, which is displayed in a dynamic “pop-up” on mouse-over of the thumbnail – just like the large image previews in Graphic River.
