If you were, would it not be a MAJOR ball ache to support it? We built a site using AMFphp and it took me forever to get to grips with it. Now imagine a newby using it.

AMFphp is the fastest way to get a flash – database connection. It is not hard
the buyes just need to upload all and change some settings

Hey, also, haven’t the guys who built AMF abandoned it? Might be worth checking out another piece of technology in that case.

There doing something with the zend framework now 
The beta 1.9 is fine for insert and getting from the database the only thing the buyers need to do is to change there database info but with every file with a database attached to it they need to do that

Well, I imagine it should be ok as long as you have the right licences in place that accompanies your files.
Oh, and a barebones SQL dump of the database you created.
