May be many of you noticed a particular spam repeatedly posted on most of the new item comments. Looks like the spammer doesn’t hesitates to open new account and makes it again and again. The result is some of the item comments looks weird as continuously atleast one comment shows “flagged as inappropriate”.

Isn’t there any way to avoid this? Something like not allowing to open new account from a marked IP address etc?

Or after a comment has been verified as truly inappropriate (or spam) by a moderator the comment should be removed completely, as I’m sure flagged comments create a negative impression.

I don’t get why the staff hasn’t implemented a blacklist yet. I can’t imagine it taking longer than 30 minutes to implement. You might even temporarily hardcode the URL that’s currently being spammed a lot. It seems like it’s only one URL for now.

Please do something, Envato. We’re at your mercy here.

Last night (about 8-10 hours ago) I reported about 15-20 spams :S .
Staff, you can simply search for: “The website wholesale for many kinds of fashion shoes, like the nike, jordan, prada” and delete all comments with that text, and ban users…

Edit: Omg, check this
