Regarding Avatar and Homepage Images

Just to let you envato devs know, you can NOT have a good quality image as an avatar if it is only 20KB or less. I just tried to update my current avatar and I couldn’t get my avatar to look good at even 30KB. It was completely distorted by noise at that point. Just yesterday, no last night 8 hours ago I changed my avatar and was able to set it to about 48kb. I understand that its to save loading time and cacheing and all that, but who could have a professionally designed avatar at only 20kb if its totally distorted with noise?

note:!! Please don’t try to lecture me about my choice of avatar based on your opinion, I won’t listen.

well I downloaded your avatar and save it with photoshop as jpg 100% quality and managed to reduce the file by 4 kb.

From the cartoon called, “Chowder”. The character’s name is Chowder. So I guess you can tell who its about. The show is awesome. Great art work in it too.
