SWFaddress help please.

Hey guys,

Im currently researching SWFaddress so i can add it into my Red Steel Template.

So, has anyone got any SIMPLE AS2 FLA files that i can take a look at? Im looking at the sample from SWFaddress but none of the code is commented and im struggling to understand parts of it.

I need to know the basics, how i read the URL , how i change the URL etc.

Any help is MUCH appreciated and to the person(s) who help me figure this out can have a copy of the template

Hi,

The sequence of things is one of the most important things in SWFaddress, especially when you are retro-fitting it to a template (much harder than building it in from the start).

Here is a link to a post I wrote to sparky flash which outlined the sequence of things . The post is specific to his example but not too specific that you wouldn’t be able to apply it to your own situation.

It’s as3 also, but I’m not talking specific code, rather just the theory, so it should be easily applicable to as2 also.

It’s not much, but it’s a start.
