SwishMax 2 components

There are lots of users that cannot afford Adobe Flash so they seek for a cheaper solution (We are one of them). It’s called SwishMax 2, most of you probably heard of it. Since SwishMax 2 made a huge jump compared to the “old” SwishMax I was wondering could there be a section for presenting and selling SwishMax 2 files since now it has lots of new features like support for components.

I would have to disagree. Your words could be true if you’re talking about SwishMax (1). But we’re talking about SwishMax 2 here. SwishMax 2 is as good as Adobe Flash 8. I encourage you to try a 15 day trial before making a statement like that. One important comparison:

Flash CS3 Pro = 699 $ Swish Max 2 = 149 $

On the other hand something like Flashden based on SwishMax (or with its files/components) doesn’t exist, and to be the first one to have something like that would be a big deal.

Since no one is answering I have to ask can SwishMax 2 components be sold under “Flash”...

How would people edit the files created with SwishMax?

doubt it. Unless they are fla files that can be opened and modified in flash, and contain valid Actionscript, I think your chances are slim to none, also you would probably get a faster and more accurate answer to a question like this from the staff. Have you written support, asking them?
