Text on Guide Motion

Hi there,

Im working on a animation, based on the timeline. Now i want to animatie some text on a guide motion line i made. The text-animation as a symbol works fine.. But what i want is that the text transform around the motion line. It is really simple in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.. Is this possible flash? I cant find it..

You cannot do that in flash. However you can break up the text by going to Modify->Break apart. You can then move the letters individually towards the path. If you are wanting to tween you will have to convert each letter to a movieclip. Your other much more complex and expensive option is to hire someone to write a complex script that does all that using mathematical formulas. Another simple solution that might not work for you, is to import the modified text from Illustrator or Fireworks. Just simply drag and drop into Flash.

Scripted animation is much better in the long run. If you want to add a sentence, or change some words ,it will be easier than a time line animation.

Its sad that its not possible in Flash, what supposed to be a animation tool..
